Learn a little more about Stevie: Stevie Cain is a singer-songwriter born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but raised in Mississippi. Some have described her music style as a fluid melting pot of blues, soul, country, folk, roots, and everything in between. Her love of music began when she started playing the violin as a child, capturing her attention to the world of music. Some of her musical influences include Patsy Cline (she is also a cousin of Patsy’s) Etta James, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones, & Sam Cooke.

She competed in the 10th season of American Idol and made it to the top 96 in the third round of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California with judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson.

She currently performs over 120 shows a year and is in the process of recording her first album. She also teaches guitar and vocal lessons at DC Guitar Studio in Gluckstadt, MS.
